The recalled batches are said to have an unapproved change in raw materials, which resulted in a less chemically pungent formula.

> Purchase Information: About 300,000 cans of Tile Perfect’s Stand ‘n Seal Grout Sealer were manufactured and sold between April and August 2005. Atlanta-based Home Depot was the exclusive seller of the product made by Tile Perfect, is a division of Roanoke Companies Group, Inc.

> Specific Injuries reported: There have been 88 reports from consumers who have had adverse reactions after using Tile Perfect’s Stand ‘n Seal Grout Sealer including 28 confirmed reports of overexposure resulting in respiratory symptoms for which medical attention was sought for coughing, irritation, difficulty breathing, dizziness and disorientation. Thirteen individuals required medical treatment including overnight hospitalization.
